I film my self-practise not for reasons of vanity. Quite the opposite - the video is my teacher and keeps me honest. It allows me to observe my body and to notice any modifications or changes I need to make to get the most out of each movement. Sometimes I share sometimes I don’t. I like when other teachers share their creativity or take on an exercise - so we all learn from each other.
I found a lot of new inspiration after a recent Pilates course and was reminded once again that Pilates is not easy and that’s what makes it so good. There is always another level up no matter where you think you are in your practise. Pilates is humbling thats for sure. Or as one of my students said this week - ‘it’s the sh*t!’ 😂
