Headed to the Miami Show in a couple of Days - This show the Sailboats are with the power boats. I'd like your imput into a project we have been working on for quite some time. SMART BOAT. At Cabo RICO We pride ourselves at being on the leading edge of innovations. It's pretty clear that Wireless is the world now. Accordingly we are looking to make an entire package that makes CRs - FLY by Wire. No we still plan on having a wheel and you sterring but just about everything else is now digital, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth....... we have some great ideas and as far as I can see noone in the sailboat world has embraced what is rapidly becoming the norm in Homes, Driverles Cars, Navigation and instrumentation. We see multi station control points thru-out the boat that acess and manage virtually every household, engine and navigation function.

So here's the request - Help us make it GREAT....(sorry, couldnt help myself) What functions would you want to be accessible within CR SMART BOAT?

If we are known by our competitors, then Cabo Rico stands among giants. Least there be any mistake, we dont challange any of the Mass Producers - We dont do that. We ply our course in a niche of design excellance, and attention to detail, striving to produce the perfect Blue Water Crusing Yacht. We count among our niche other manufacturers that have to work hard to keep up with us and hold the bar as high for us.
Sadly,I was told yesterday that one of the icons of our part of the business, OYSTER has surcummed to finanical stress. We wish the employees and all connected to OYSTER well.
