Are you an athlete looking to improve your respiratory strength? Maybe a surfer wanting to improve your confidence when a big wave holds you down? Training freediving can help with many things to include;

✅Strengthen reparatory muscles
✅Sharpen the mind
✅Gain awareness and control of your body
✅Increase mobility
✅Gain confidence in and under water

We are open to new members joining our club to learn and practice freediving with a highly trained professional in a safe & fun environment. You will have access to online materials, instructor led sessions, and the opportunity to complete a pool freediving course at no extra cost to your membership. This counts as part of your open water certification. If you wish to take it in the future, you can reach out to Rica Freedivers

Where: Escuela Los Delfines
When: Tuesdays & Thursdays at 4:00pm - 6:00pm.
Price: ₡20,000/ month (single session ₡5,000)

Requirements:
-10+ years old
- basic swimming ability
- no previous freediving experience required

I am happy to announce the opening of Quepos Freediving Club! We are open to new members joining our club to learn and practice freediving with a highly trained professional in a safe environment. We will hold training session twice a week. Normally on Mondays and Wednesdays at 4:00pm - 6:00pm.

Where: Escuela Los Delfines

When: August 16, 2021 at 4:00pm - 6:00pm.

Price: ₡20,000/ month (single session ₡5,000)

Requirements:

-12+ years old
- basic swimming ability
- no previous freediving experience required

We always want to end our static breath holds with four points of contact. Meaning both feet firmly on the ground and both hands holding onto something like the pool edge or lane marker. This way when we come up for our recover breaths we are stable and not needing to use energy to maintain our head above water.


Siempre queremos terminar nuestras contenciones de la respiración estática con cuatro puntos de contacto. Es decir, con los dos pies firmemente apoyados en el suelo y las dos manos agarrando algo como el borde de la piscina o el marcador de carril. De esta manera, cuando subimos para recuperar la respiración, estamos estables y no necesitamos usar energía para mantener la cabeza por encima del agua.
