Costa Rica fishing with Big Eye Charters offers a full day, 3/4 day or a half day. The full day is 8-9 hours. On the full day charter we provide lunch, fresh fruit, sodas, water and beer. All bait and tackle are furnished. You may select one, two, three or more days of Quepos fishing. Two and three days are the most popular selections. You will also enjoy much more than just fishing. Our journey began bright and early at 6 am from Marina Pez Vela. With the sun just beginning to light up the sky, we set off into the vast Pacific Ocean, ready for a day filled with adventure and excitement. The weather conditions were perfect, with clear skies and calm seas, which are ideal for sport fishing.

We were fortunate to catch a total of 10 bigeye tuna today. Known for their speed and strength, bigeye tuna are a favorite amongst sport fishing enthusiasts. These fish are not only a delight to catch but also provide a delicious meal. Our experienced crew, equipped with the best fishing gear, was able to reel in these impressive fish, providing a thrilling experience for everyone on board.

In addition to the bigeye tuna, we also caught a roosterfish. We set out early this morning with the sun just beginning to paint the sky. The weather conditions were ideal for fishing, with a gentle breeze and calm seas. Our target species for the day were Sailfish and Tuna, two of the most sought-after game fish in these parts.

Our first catch of the day was a stunning Sailfish, a true testament to the abundant marine life in the waters of Quepos. The fight was exhilarating, lasting nearly half an hour. The angler demonstrated great skill and patience, eventually reeling in the magnificent creature. After a quick photo, we released the Sailfish back into the ocean, as is our practice at Big Eye 2 Sportfishing, to promote sustainable fishing.
