h dance and gymnastics, leading her to earn a B.S. in Exercise Science and Community Health from the University of North Florida. She finds fulfillment in helping clients push past limits and reach goals they never thought possible. When she’s not coaching, you’ll find her tackling new fitness challenges, snowboarding, scuba and freediving, surfing, and spending time with her husband and son.

BULKY? No. LEAN? Yes!!!
I’ve been lifting weights since I was in high school. But in the past 5 years I started to lift heavier and more often and that’s when the results really started to happen.
Gradually adding weight as long as your form and technique allows and eating properly to fuel your workouts and recovery will result in a lean build, not a bulky one! Bulky muscles don’t just all of the sudden pop out when females start lifting weight. You have to train really hard and eat a very specific diet for that to happen. It takes more work than most would even think about fitting into their lifestyle.
So don’t hesitate when it comes to adding weights to your workouts. Start small and don’t be scared to add as you can safely. 💪🏼💪🏼

I say “train” because it is different than working out. It’s having a plan to meet your specific goals. Sometimes just showing up at the gym doesn’t always get you the results you want. You guys asked for more…SHRED60 is now ✌🏼 days a week! Mondays + Wednesdays 4pm !
⭐️ I created SHRED60 years ago to combine strength, cardio, core and yoga in a 60 minute class for those that want to get it all in but don’t several hours to spare!
This class will build strength, endurance and increase flexibility. We use light weights during the first 25 minutes which will result in more calories burned during and after your session. Your core will be the focus for the next 10 minutes building strong abs and strengthening your low back. To create balance in the body, we will finish with a 25 minute yoga flow allowing your muscles to stretch and lengthen. All levels are welcome to come shred with us!
