Watching the YTT teaching practicums this round has honestly been one of my favorite parts of the training 🥹✨

Every single student taught so differently. Bringing different voices, energies, sequencing styles, stories, and strengths. Yet somehow every class was beautiful in its own way. That’s the magic of this work. There’s no one way to teach from the heart.

I feel it all. The courage, the growth, the nerves, the breakthroughs, the love woven into each offering. So proud of these humans and so grateful to witness them stepping into themselves 💛

Finding your voice as a yoga teacher is rarely about becoming louder, more polished, or more performative.

More often, it’s about becoming more fully, authentically, abundantly you.

Learning to trust your inner knowing.
Your presence. Your self.

For some, this translates to confidently guiding yoga classes.

For others, it appears in everyday life—
expressing yourself more truthfully,
setting clearer boundaries,
sharing your perspective without shrinking it first.

In that way, finding your voice as a yoga teacher is about more than teaching yoga.

It is about leaning into the fullness of your whole, beautiful self.

Ready to find your voice and step more fully into yourself?

We have a few spots left for our summer yoga teacher trainings in Italy.

Comment "Italy" to start the conversation, we'd love to support you 🫶🏼

The more present we become, the more abundance we experience.

Not because life suddenly becomes perfect,

but because we begin paying attention differently.

We notice the joy of a nourishing meal.
A shared smile with a stranger.
A bouquet of wild flowers.

The feeling of being fully here for a moment instead of rushing past it.

So much abundance lives in the small things we overlook when we are moving too quickly to receive them.

Presence turns ordinary moments into reminders of fullness.

What abundance have you noticed today?

Most of us spend our lives searching for abundance outside of ourselves.

More success. More validation. More recognition. Simply, More.

Believing that once we achieve enough, prove enough, or become enough, we’ll finally feel whole.

But in yogic philosophy, this striving is said to come from the ego—the ahamkara.

The part of us that forms an identity based on fear, comparison, attachment, and protection.

The ego convinces us that abundance is something we must chase.

Something scarce.

Something reserved for a future version of ourselves.

And in doing so, it becomes a veil over our true nature.

Because beneath the conditioning, beneath the roles and stories and constant proving, there is a deeper self that already exists in connection with abundance.

Not because of what it has earned—but because abundance is the natural state of a life lived in alignment.

Yoga reminds us that true abundance does not begin when we finally become “more.”

It begins the moment we stop looking outside ourselves for permission to feel enough.

The more we soften the grip of the ego, the more we create space for presence, connection, and receptivity.

And often, that is when abundance begins to flow most naturally.

Not because we forced it.

But because we finally removed the veil that kept us from experiencing it. ✨

Santosha means contentment. This concept can sometimes be difficult to grasp. It is different from resignation, or pretending that everything is fine. Rather, it is being with what is, and saying, “Despite this, I can take the next step.”🌊

It is the capacity to be present in your body, your breath, your life, and this moment, without needing everything to be ideal before allowing yourself to feel whole.⚖️

This perspective can reshape our relationship with self-worth, desire, prosperity, grief, pleasure, responsibility, and abundance.

Some self-inquiry questions around santosha:
Where are you consuming out of emptiness rather than nourishment?
Where are you chasing validation instead of listening inward?
What are you unable to accept?

These questions have some simple answers:

Take only what is needed.
Choose with care.
Acknowledge the sacred in every moment, everything and everyone.

When rooted in santosha something shifts.

Generosity becomes natural.

We share time.
We share presence.
We share care.

Abundance becomes less about what we hold and more about how we find beauty and magic in life.

This brings us back to pleasure.

Not as escape. Not as overindulgence.
But as presence.

The warmth of sun on skin.
The taste of nourishing food.
The breath moving through the body.
The simple joy of being alive.

The body is not an obstacle to spiritual life.
It is where life is experienced.

To feel joy, vitality, sensuality, grief, love, and tenderness is not a distraction from the path, it is the path.
