I’m currently in Costa Rica, I posted the following song and message on local expat fb groups here in Costa Rica. My story was personal, but this song has brought messages back to me, one even saying he literally came to tears. Im finding, Im not alone in my story. Having a place to connect with myself, nature, humanity and even the universe is so healing. I wish for everyone to find that much needed place, be it near or far. ❤️

Dearest Expats and Gringo's,
This song I wrote some time not long after my first trip to Costa Rica. After years of digging rabbit holes regarding every dark issue in the USA. I hit rock bottom and had to escape my depressed state of being...Costa Rica called! I had never been.

There are lots of stories that came out of that trip, but mainly I found detachment from the states I so desperately needed. i was immersed in nature, surrounded by happy and helpful native people, as well as those who came before me to stay in this Pura Vida vibe, I quickly fell in love with.

This is a simple song but maybe you can relate to some of it. Please like it if you can. Pura Vida!!!
