Herradura Bay - Jim Corcoran of Wisconsin had a day that will be remembered forever. Fishing on the Bolita, a 61 Viking captained by Johnny Fulgeita that came up from Quepos for three days, Jim recorded a solo IGFA Super Grand Slam! He released one black marlin, two blue marlin, a striped marlin, and nine sailfish (of 11 sailfish in total; two were released by Jim's friend who he convinced to fish for a bit after Jim had released the billfish mentioned above). It's been a huge billfish month all along Costa Rica's Pacific coast, and no one took better advantage of the bite combined with a top-notch captain.
