Jaco Watersports is a 2015 founded company offering watersports in the Jaco and Playa Herradura areas. As the sister company of Herradura Divers our mission is to compliment the services of Herradura Divers which has been in operation since 2003. Herradura Divers is the first and only PADI and SSI Dive Resort Certified company in the Jaco and Herradura Beach areas offering scuba diving along the c

oast of the Gulf of Nicoya and Tortuga Island. To provide a large range of services we have added a more spacious and comfortable boat to be able to extend our navigation range. It is a Florida built Venture 34 model fabricated by Henley Marine as a Tournament fishing vessel. Unlike traditional tours who offer only one activity Jaco Watersports will specialize and customize tours for individual groups offering a variety of activities on the same day! Choose your day trip by selecting any of the offered activities! Fit in as many as you want and can in the day!

Congratulations once more to 86 year old Ed Fisher!
2019 he managed it to fight a 15ft long striped marlin
2020 he managed to fight a 30 lbs and very upset Wahoo

There are still "Anglers" who gaff and kill billfish, espoecially in Mexico from where it seems this disturbing video was taped...
I have no words except that the two dumbheads got less that they should had gotten for gaffing a marlin!

This was a epic catch and a good example of be patient while fishing when it's slow.
Out of nothing we got a bite of this huge striped marlin and it took about 90 minutes to reel it in and release him.
