3 days. Countless dives. And a whole lot of conservation work. 🌊🐢💙

We were proud to welcome students from and for 3 days of Marine Conservation in the Gulf of Papagayo.

Between diving and snorkeling, the students had the opportunity to get hands-on with marine conservation — and we were lucky enough to encounter several sea turtles that could be safely captured for identification and monitoring. 🐢

Each turtle was tagged, measured, documented, and carefully released back into the ocean. Every piece of data collected helps build a better understanding of the population and contributes to long-term conservation efforts. 🔬🌊

We’re incredibly happy and proud to be part of this ongoing work alongside and the amazing people working every day to protect our marine ecosystems.

Because conservation isn’t just something you learn about.
It’s something you get your hands wet for. 💙

🐢 A dive we’ll never forget!

During a recent Open Water course, we had the privilege of joining Oriol and Araitz from CREMA when we encountered a juvenile hawksbill turtle. Thanks to CREMA’s ongoing research, the turtle was safely measured, photographed, and identified as an individual already tagged during a previous campaign.

Every turtle monitored provides valuable data that helps scientists better understand and protect this critically endangered species.

We’re proud to support local marine conservation and grateful for organizations like CREMA that work every day to protect Costa Rica’s incredible marine life. 💙🌊
