Just wanted to write back and voice how much fun we had fishing with your crew. If things work out we will be back and looking to go out again. My wife and I were on the boat and we had planned on fishing a little and snorkel a little and beach a little. Per my wife's decision and my delight she was having so much fun all she wanted to do was fish and sightsee while fishing. She caught one small fish first off and that was it for her she let me have the rod for the rest of the day. Totally content to look for whales, turtles, baitfish, and dolphins for the remainder of the day. Chasing dolphins in pursuit of tuna was particularly exciting for her and me. We capped off our fun-filled day with a last-ditch effort to catch a roosterfish. We went out deeper to catch bait while doing that we had a sailfish jump next to the boat. Before we knew it the sail had eaten a Bonita that we were trying to catch for bait. The Bonita had eaten the spoon we were trying to catch it on but had not tripped the release on the downrigger ball. The Bonita was swallowed and the hook in its mouth became hooked in the corner of the moth of the Sail. The sail jumped at least ten times before going deep and bulldogging us. I could not put much pressure on the fish because the line on the Bonita spoon was so light. Finally, when I got the sail close to the boat it went crazy again. Jumping 6 or 7 more times very close to the boat. One time almost landing on the gunnel. Soon after I had the bill in my hand and the fish was landed. The stories and memories from this trip will last a lifetime. I do want to acknowledge that Sailfish was the highlight but the trip would have been a success without it. I felt that the captain and son worked very hard throughout the day trying to get me on fish. They were opportunistic and we kept changing it up to have success. The wildlife we were able to witness was outstanding. 4 whales, 5 Turtles, 50+ dolphins, needlefish jumping, angelfish, schooling Mahi, and tuna busting on topwater plugs just amazing. Not to mention the scenery is absolutely beautiful. Thanks for the experience
