Ski Colombia officially kicks off our season this Saturday. In Santa Marta prepping tan and metabolism at the moment. Check us out at skicolombia.com and feel free to like our page. For weekly packages we are pretty much booked up through the first week or so of February but have various dates available February 8 through May 31st. Drop in pay4pull rides are always available. Or stay home and freeze your ass off. jajajaja

John Kell..RIP
John was a stocky Bloke from Northern England. (Brick Sh*****se) First time I laid eyes on John he had just broke a handle during a slalom pass at Marine Stadium in about 1987. Judges called no re-ride. He was so pi**ed he threw his new Master Craft ski onto the rocky sea-wall. When his son Anthony returned it to him he threw it right back. This guy had a temper. No-one wanted anything to do with talking him down. Two weeks later I had just joined the Canyon Lake Ski Club California. After my slalom session skiing into the dock I threw a tic-toc, splashing a couple boats. Bear in mind this is prima donna slalom central. Upon surfacing John jumps up out of the seat of his new Master Craft. Glaring down at me in the water he demands to know WTF I am doing. I’m no little boy either so I reply, “just having fun”. He precedes wavering his finger up and down the dock saying, “look at these people, they are serious skiers, they aren’t here to have fun” Then he bends down, reaches into his cooler and comes up with two Lowenbrau’s and asks me to join him for a wake-up. It’s 10am! Well, to wrap things up. John became the best friend/ill-legitimate step father I could have ever hoped for. We spent the next 20 years tied together on a special level.

John. I miss you and Love you. Don’t leave go mate.

Ski Colombia is offering a pay as you ski special Saturday and Sunday. 20 minute ski sessions for $30.000 Pesos / $20.00 USD
There are many other activities such as Kayaks, Volleyball, Billiards, and Darts.

We will be having a Texas style BBQ Saturday afternoon/evening. Ribs, Chicken and Jalapeno Poppers. Sodas and Cervezas available.
