We were honored to have the opportunity to meet Madame Liu
Yandong on the same day she declared the opening of the Table Tennis World Championships in Suzhou. She is the vice premier of China, responsible for education, health, culture, and sports. This woman is remarkable. She worked with youth for more than 20 years and she advocates sports for all ages. We practice at the newly build Wusa Stadium with a state of the art drainage system and shock absorbent track. The sweeping policy reform in government has made China what it is today. It has given new opportunities to children who wish to be involved in sports. She was visiting the stadium at Wusa Lu while our american football team, the Suzhou Blue Knights, was training.
