What a week! After four days of intense competition, the talented swimmers from the Shanghai French School wrapped up the Asia-Pacific Swimming Championship (CAPN) with an impressive 2nd place finish out of 13 teams. For the fourth consecutive year, our swim team secured the runner-up spot, right behind Sydney — the reigning champions.
It was a week full of high-level performances and powerful emotions. The competition was held across both our Qingpu and Yangpu campuses, with more than 300 swimmers competing across all strokes and events, and many personal records were broken.
A big congratulations to all participating teams, and a special shoutout to the top 5:
#1 Sydney
#2 Shanghai (that’s us!)
#3 Phnom Penh
#4 Singapore
#5 DSS (our friends from the German School, well done!)
We are especially proud of our 50 student-athletes, who showed incredible determination and team spirit.
Next year, CAPN — an AEFE-led event — heads to Singapore. And our swimmers will be ready to dive in, stronger than ever.
