[Recruiting]Sports Director
Reports To: Deputy General Manager

Supervises: Athletics Staff
Major Duties:
• Provides administrative direction and oversight for all athletics programs and activities, including the creation and implementation of related organizational goals.
• Assists with supervision and management of athletics staff, including shared responsibility for specialized recruitment/hiring, evaluation, as well as training and mentoring.
• Oversees curriculum development and the development of individual program learning targets and goals.
• Overseas and assists in the creation, planning, and management of sport camps (overseas and domestic), activities, and other special events.
• Collaborates with athletic and non-athletic staff in the preparation of press releases and marketing for organizational activities and events.
• Participates in the development and implementation of marketing plans, including the selection, production, and oversight of all marketing, advertising, and promotional material.
• Produces and edits promotional literature, reports, and event materials and liaises with marketing and media organizations.
• Responds to enquiries and requests for information from parents, external organizations, and members of the public.
• Ensures administrative systems, processes and databases are efficient and well managed.
• Collects and analyzes departmental statistics and data and prepares and distributes reports as appropriate.
• Carries out administrative duties, using systems and processes relevant to the organization.
• Prepares and delivers presentations, as well as represents the organization at professional meetings and other special or public events.
• Liaises with local and overseas sporting organizations, councils and committees, as well as relevant governing bodies.
• Oversees and assists with the implementation of organizational expansion projects, including both internal and external growth and outreach.
