澳門大學龍舟隊放1月8日至12日受邀遠赴哈爾濱工業大學，參加「哈劍牛杯」冰上龍舟國際友誼賽暨中英青年文化交流周，與劍橋、牛津及海內外知名院校的學子們同場競技和交流，獲益良多！從熟悉的水面到冰天雪地的賽場，第一次接觸冰上龍舟才發現，原來和水上龍舟差這麼多！水上龍舟底部裝著冰刀滑行，船槳也變成帶冰錐的設計，靠著冰錐扎冰的反作用力推動前進，不再是熟悉的划水節奏，一開始還真有點手足無措，但慢慢體會到冰面低阻力帶來的飛速體感，新鮮又刺激！除了緊張有趣的比賽，更難得的是能和來自不同文化背景、不同院校的優秀學子們深度交流。無論是龍舟技巧的切磋，還是學術、文化的交流，都讓我們打開了新視野，收穫滿滿， 這不僅是一場體育賽事，更是一次難忘的跨國文化交流體驗。感謝哈工大的邀請，讓我們在冰天雪地中遇見熱情與驚喜，為大學生活添上了獨特的一筆！未來繼續帶著這份熱情與見識，在龍舟路上勇往直前～ 🔥
From January 8th to 12th, the University of Macau Dragon Boat Team was honored to be invited to Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) in the far north to participate in the ”HIT-Cambridge-Oxford Cup“ Ice Dragon Boat International Friendship Race and China-UK Youth Cultural Exchange Week”. We competed and exchanged ideas with students from Cambridge, Oxford and other renowned universities at home and abroad, and gained a great deal from the experience!
Moving from the familiar water surface to the icy and snowy race course, we discovered just how different ice dragon boat is from traditional water dragon boat on our first try! The ice dragon boat glides on ice blades attached to its bottom, and the paddles are also designed with ice awls propelling forward by the reaction force of the awls piercing the ice. It’s no longer the familiar rowing rhythm, and we were a bit at a loss at first. But gradually, we experienced the thrilling speed brought by the low resistance on the ice, which was fresh and exciting! Beyond the intense and fun competition, the rare opportunity to engage in in depth exchanges with outstanding students from diverse cultural backgrounds and different universities made this trip even more meaningful. Whether it was exchanging dragon boat skills, or discussing academics and culture, we broadened our horizons and reaped abundant gains. This was not just a sports event, but an unforgettable cross border cultural exchange experience. Thank you to Harbin Institute of Technology for the invitation, which allowed us to encounter warmth and surprises amidst the ice and snow, adding a unique touch to our university life! We will carry this passion and insight forward, and forge ahead bravely on our dragon boat journey in the future～ 🔥
