We are pleased to announce the release of the 25th biannual issue (April 2025) of the Official Journal of the International Olympic Academy!
This publication highlights the IOA’s recent activities and showcases the work of National Olympic Academies around the world, while also encouraging dialogue on key issues within the Olympic Movement.
The spotlight theme? “The Future of Sport” – explored through the lens of emerging technologies. This journal features a diverse collection of thought-provoking articles contributed by esteemed personalities, offering unique insights from a variety of perspectives.
A standout moment in this issue? The Opening Ceremony of the 144th IOC Session, held at the IOA premises in Ancient Olympia on 18 March 2025. This historic event, during which Kirsty Coventry was elected as the new IOC President, marked the first time such a gathering took place at the birthplace of the Olympic Games and the heart of global Olympic education.
