Karate Association of India having its registered office at B-2/71, Janak Puri, New Delhi-110058 headed by its President Mr. Likha Tara, Vice Presidents Mr. Bharat Sharma, Mr. Milton Sastry, Mr. Viraf Vatcha, Mr. Hariprasad Pattanayak, General Secretary Mr. Ambedkar Gupta, Joint Secretaries Mr. C. Dosavunga, Mr. Suraj Caculo, Mr. Rajesh Agrawal, Mr. Mahesh B. Goud, Mr. Sanjeev Jangra, Mr. Jaspal Singh and Treasurer Mr. Premjit Sen is the only National Federation of Karate Sports in India duly affiliated with World Karate Federation, Asian Karate Fedaration, Commonwealth Karate Federation, South Asian Karate Do Fedaration and recognised by Govt. of India (Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports)
WKF affiliated KAI is only entitled to select Indian Karate team for all the International events like World, Asian, South Asian, Commonwealth, Olympic and Asian Games as per the IOC charter.
WKF affiliated KAI is only empowered to nominate Indian Referees and Coaches for WKF & AKF Licence qualification and upgradation/renewal.
