A través de la enseñaza del karate, el dojo de Oshukai en Okinawa enseña el idioma Uchinaaguchi

私たちワールド王修会沖縄道場の取り組みが紹介されました！ ✨🥋
今回取り上げていただいたのは、 県内の小学校でウチナーグチだけを使って沖縄伝統空手を教える という新しい挑戦です。
当道場から平良美乃さんと、大城光平さんが担当いたしました！
沖縄では、消えつつあるウチナーグチ(しまくとぅば)をどのように次世代へ継承していくかが大きな課題となっています。
その中で、空手という武道を通し、子どもたちが言葉と文化の両方を楽しく学べる取り組みとして実施しました。📝🥋
子どもたちが自分たちの足元にある伝統文化へ興味を持ち、そして空手のように世界へと視野を広げるきっかけになれば幸いです。🌍
The World Oshukai Okinawa Dojo was featured in today’s newspaper!
The article highlighted our new challenge: teaching Okinawan traditional karate using only the Okinawan language (Uchinaaguchi) at elementary schools in the prefecture.
From our Dojo, Ms.TAIRA Yoshino and Mr.OSHIRO Kohei did the program.
In Okinawa, one of the major issues we face is how to pass down our unique local language to the next generation, as it is gradually disappearing.
Through this program, we hoped to create an opportunity for children to learn both the language and the cultural traditions of Okinawa in an enjoyable way, using karate as a familiar and accessible form of martial arts.
We sincerely hope that this experience will inspire children to take interest in the traditional culture that exists right beneath their feet, and that—just like karate—it will encourage them to broaden their perspectives toward the world.
