What people see is only part of the story. Lets shift perspective...
Behind every great project, there are long days, teamwork, problem-solving, passion, and an entire community making things happen behind the scenes.

This experience reminded us that the real magic comes from the people, the collaboration, and the expertise each one of us brings to the table. And when everyone moves toward the same vision, the results can go far beyond expectations.

A special thank you to Recasur Rent A Car for carrying us safely through every road and every moment across Patagonia, truly the most reliable rental car for adventure.

Something is already calling us back.

Moments suspended between effort and awe, riders tracing lines through landscapes that feel almost unreal, while others pause, breathe, and take it all in from the sidelines. This is what FFP has always been about: not just the ride, but everything around it.
A transformative experience in all levels.

And yes… we’re already deep into building the next edition.

2nd edition; soon to be announced. March 2027.

Final Frontier Patagonia, as an event from Austral Trails, has been a 1% for the Planet member since February this year, meaning we give 1% of our annual sales to environmental partners working on the front lines of change.
We do it because we love Patagonia, and we want to protect it on every possible way.
1% for the Planet certifies this giving annually, making it real, verified and accountable.

We gave every participant an official FFP passport, filled with 24 side quests to take on throughout their journey across Patagonia. The outcome was as fun as you might imagine.

A few days after closing the first edition of FFP, we finally had time to count the points from the Discovery Challenge. Those who completed more than 20 tasks earned a special badge, and the rider with the highest score will receive a yearly subscription to .

You can find out who came out on top in our blog...(link in bio)

Next week, together with , we will share the three best participant stories from FFP and open a poll for the Bike Adventure Series community to choose a favorite.

A small preview: one involves a talking fish, another a lost sock, and the third unfolds through a chain of unfortunate, yet somehow fortunate, events.

The winning story will receive a special prize from Garmin. These stories capture the spirit of the road. Stay tuned.

Day 24: They made it!!!

The final riders have arrived within the 24-day time frame. And what a finish it was; glitter on every face, beers in hand, and a truly festive atmosphere.

Despite the distance. Despite the wind. Even after illness. They kept going, caught up, and rode all the way here.

A special mention to the last two to arrive. Against all odds, they pushed 250 km a day to make it in time, (after being very ill), and they did!

Friends they met along the way were there to welcome them, and together, under an almost full moon, we closed the first edition of FFP.

What started as an idea became something unforgettable, built by everyone involved.

The bonds formed, the lessons learned, the kilometers shared: all of it will last far beyond this finish line.

Thank you to everyone who took part. Who dared. Who explored. Who stepped out of their comfort zone.

You didn’t just ride this route; you made history as the pioneers of the first edition of FFP.

Congratulations to all of you.

Absolute legends 🤍🤍

Day 23: A day of welcomes and goodbyes.

Some riders are still arriving, full of joy. It’s a perfect sunny day in Ushuaia! Everyone is cheering at the final sign.

Others are already leaving the end of the world, heading home with a bunch of penguin souvenirs, camera rolls full of landscape photos, bikes packed into cardboard boxes, and faces tanned by the Patagonian sun and wind.

There is a party energy in the air. Stories still being shared, memories still settling in.

Many are already making plans for what comes next. New routes, new ideas, another adventure together. It’s almost ironic, this one isn’t even fully over, and yet the next one is already taking shape.

We never seem to get tired of adventure. Of the wild, the unknown, the challenge. No matter how hard it gets, something about the experience keeps pulling us back.

Maybe we are all a little mad, but not alone. 🤍

Once again thank you for having us

Day 22: The road from Tolhuin to Ushuaia keeps delivering riders, one by one, in small waves. No crowds, no noise. Just quiet arrivals. Friends welcoming friends.

There are no big speeches here. Just looks of recognition. A nod. A hug that says everything.

More bikes lean against walls. More stories find their way to the same tables. The city fills with that familiar mix of exhaustion, relief, and something harder to name.

More riders arrive. Ushuaia’s locals look on in disbelief:
“3000 km? With no assistance? You’re all crazy.”

Maybe a little… but maybe that’s what it takes to understand, and to be part of something extraordinary.

One thing is certain: this has never been done before. Every rider arriving is part of something unique — a moment that marks a before and an after. The first edition of Final Frontier Patagonia. 🤍

Day 21: As we cheer for our remaining friends to cross the final stretch, and now that Tierra del Fuego has finally calmed its winds and opened a safe window for riders to move forward, it’s time to start reflecting.

What have we learned?

That in Patagonia, you are never in control. You can plan, prepare, anticipate… but in the end, nature decides. Learning to let go is part of the journey.

That community is not optional, it is essential. Sharing food, warmth, tools, or simply a few words can make the difference between moving forward or stopping.

That the body is stronger than we think, but the mind even more so. And often, all it takes to keep going… is one more step.

And maybe most importantly…

That the real journey is not only the one across Patagonia, but the one happening within each rider.

There are still a few kilometers to go, and Ushuaia waits with open arms to those still on the road.

Day 20: The final push, emotions are flowing, the border to cross from Chile to Argentina is in a remote area. No supplies, no lodging. Just pure grit.
Resilience is key. Few kilometers to go, legs are tired but the mind is stronger.
