People see the tricks.

They see the clips. The jumps. The progression.

What they don't see are the kilometres, the fuel, the airbag sessions, the trampoline training, the food, and all the little expenses that add up along the way.

Freestyle skiing isn't cheap.

But watching your son chase his dreams, sharing the journey together, and creating memories you'll never forget...

Worth every franc. ❤️

51 years old and still learning new tricks.

Today: Sideflip.

My 18-year-old son showed me what to do. A few tries later, things already started to make more sense.

Not perfect. But definitely better.

Still learning. Still having fun.

Nobody sees these conversations.

People see the jumps, the clips and the smiles.

They don't hear the doubts. They don't hear the fear. They don't hear the "Why am I doing this?"

Before the first jump of the day, it's always a fight with myself.

And somehow, after all these years, the feeling afterwards still makes it worth it.

At 51, I'm still learning new tricks and honestly, I have no idea where this journey will end. 😅

One training day.

People see a few seconds in a reel.
What they don’t see are the hours behind it.

Packing.
Driving.
Waiting in traffic.
Training.
Eating.
Training again.
Drying the wetsuits.

And next Friday, we do it all over again.

That’s how progress is built.

One was freezing cold. 🥶
The other one? Pretty hard, even with all that powder.
Fails are part of it.

Years later, they still make me smile.
