The area offers a world-class, four season resort and is home to the famous Lauberhorn World Cup Downhill Race held in January each year, as well as the iconic North Face of the Eiger Mountain, one of the world’s most renowned and difficult climbs. A state-of-the-art network of ski lifts and mountain trains connects multiple villages including: Wengen, Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, Mürren, and Interlaken. The hiking terrain and ski slopes are expansive and ideal for hikers and skiers of all abilities, from novice to expert, including slopes for the World Championship Downhill and Slalom races. Chalet Stella is situated on a sunny slope overlooking the Lauterbrunnen valley which hosts over 100 waterfalls, and the famous Trummelbach falls (you can actually go into the mountain, via elevator, to experience the tremendous power of the waterfalls.) from the Inner Wengen Ski lift (finish line for the Men’s World Cup Ski Race) and a lovely ’20 stroll to the village center. It is light-filled, peaceful, spacious, warm, and beautifully furnished.
