econd-last compromised run before the World Championships in Stockholm.
At this stage, my biggest limiter isn't any individual station. It's my ability to maintain pace and performance as fatigue accumulates over the race.
That's exactly why this session is built around repeated 2km laps. It's a great way to challenge and assess endurance under fatigue, while practising the skill of holding a strong pace when your legs and lungs are already working hard.
Sometimes the goal isn't to improve a specific station. It's to improve your ability to keep going when everything starts to feel difficult.
