Lots of hopping going on at the moment.

👗Seafront Sunday 👒
7th June - Crown Pier 11 am - 11.45 am

Join us for some Lindy dancing and a free taster class with our new teacher.

Please message me, Susan Souter, if you can come along, dressed ready to Lindy dance, meet our new teacher, and show everyone what fun it is!

No partner needed – there will be solo and group dancing.

We’ll be following the Indian Dancing, so please arrive by 10.45 am.

A weekend of music, dance, friendship and cake together at St James Guernsey with The Melody Man and Guernsey Jazz Orchestra and visitors from overseas and friends from Jersey who bring energy in abundance.

What a wonderful Dance Weekend St James Guernsey 🇬🇬✨

A huge thank you to everyone who danced, played music, baked cakes, helped behind the scenes, decorated tables, served refreshments, moved chairs, sold tickets and brought such warmth and joy to the celebrations.

It was a very special weekend marking 81 years since Liberation, and we loved seeing the dance floor full of smiles, friendship and wonderful music.

Special thanks to The Ding D**g Daddios, The Melody Man and Guernsey Jazz Orchestra, volunteers and everyone who travelled to join us.

And finally… thank you to every single person who came along and supported the events. Community spirit is what makes weekends like this possible.

💃 Swing & Jive Night on Saturday 23 May, brought to you by the St James Dance Festival

Whether you love getting on the dance floor, or simply enjoy the atmosphere of the 50s, this evening is for you.

With legendary live band The Ding D**g Daddios, and free Lindy Hop and Jive classes during the day, St James will be swinging with the sound of vintage dance music.

Get dressed up, come along and be immersed in another era!

Travel back in time with our Liberty Tea Dance, celebrating the 80th anniversary of Guernsey's first post-war tea dance. A time for people to get together and feel the joy of peace and community.

The afternoon will be hosted by well-known period dance instructors Marc and Hoc, who will entertain and lead us through some well-loved and fun novelty dances.

There will be live music from the Guernsey Jazz Orchestra featuring a variety of traditional Tea Dance music with an accent on vintage Swing, plus a whole host of other surprises.

To enhance this elegant and atmospheric afternoon, you are encouraged to dress up in period clothes and will be rewarded with tea and cake!
