Thank you for a true celebration of curling! 🥌
The ACE & Company World Mixed Doubles and the World Senior Curling Championships 2026 brought together 34 senior men’s teams, 23 senior women’s teams, and 20 mixed doubles teams from across the globe.
From the very beginning, this event was about more than competition. It was about celebrating everything that makes our sport unique: the athletes, the people behind the scenes, the partners, and the city that welcomed us all.
The opening ceremony set the tone, with two stones delivered simultaneously by Olympic champion Anette Norberg (together with Wayne Middaugh, Mairi Milne and Hugh Millikin) and Switzerland’s Benoît Schwarz-van Berkel, with the support of Stephanie Barbarin.
Throughout the week, unforgettable moments were created on and off the ice, with intense games, emotional victories, and time spent together – including a memorable apéro with representatives of World Curling, Swiss Curling and guests from the Olympic 2038 project, as well as a fondue evening with our volunteers.
None of this would have been possible without the incredible dedication of our volunteers –thank you for your energy, your passion, and your commitment.
We are grateful for the strong collaboration with World Curling, Swiss Curling, and the local authorities in Geneva, whose support made this event a success. A special thank you to our title sponsor ACE & Company, as well as to all sponsors and partners who stood behind this event.
Congratulations to all the teams, especially the new world champions – Australia in Mixed Doubles, the USA (Senior Men) and Scotland (Senior Women) – for their outstanding performances.
On behalf of the entire Geneva curling family, we would like to say a huge MERCI BEAUCOUP to all of you ❤️
