As temperatures increase, we carefully monitor each horse’s response to the heat. Horse welfare is our foremost concern, and adequate recovery is a key part of that commitment. Match schedules are therefore designed to provide sufficient time for rest, hydration, and recovery, ensuring the horses remain healthy, comfortable, and ready to perform at their best.

Every player has a specific role to play. Players are assigned a handicap that reflects their riding ability, understanding of the game, hitting accuracy, tactical awareness, and ability to read play. Teams are formed based on the combined handicaps of their players, ensuring they match the level and requirements of the tournament.

Monday morning in the stables, everything is quiet, horses are out, grooms are off.

Organising tournaments doesn’t mean the polo school takes a break. Fortunately, our school horses have not yet demanded a place in the tournament line-up, so they remain fully available for lessons.

And as for Manu, one match and a few lessons in the same day are no problem at all. Spending hours on horseback, swinging a mallet at full speed, and still smiling afterwards while giving a few extra lessons, that's his signature.
