As announced, there will be a Snowboard Racing Camp this year, which will be integrated into the existing Snowboard Carving Camp from April 3-6, 2025 (www.carvingcamp.ch).
The three days on snow will be dedicated entirely to racing, with slalom and giant slalom training sessions, coached by experienced coaches with World Cup and Olympic experience. However, this offer is not only aimed at athletes, but at anyone who would like to immerse themselves in the world of racing. To appeal to our younger guests, we now have a less expensive accommodation option at Scuol Youth Hostel.

Several years of development by Nevin Galmarini in collaboration with Oxess finally created the "Nevin Galmarini Limited Edition". It's a freecarve board that uses the same technologies as the Worldcup proven competition boards, but is adapted for daily use on public slopes. With a length of 174cm, a radius of 12.5m and a waist of 200mm, the board is set between a giant slalom and a slalom board. It thus guarantees a versatile riding sensation with less effort compared to pure competition boards.

It's finally here! The Nevin Galmarini Limited Edition by Oxess - Swiss Snowsport. It's a board that takes the best racing technology and puts it into a freecarve board. Much of the feedback came from the annual Snowboard Carving Camp guests - thanks a lot to everyone involved!

Hi Carvers,

I would like to update you on the current status of the Snowboard Carving Camp 2021.

It is currently still unclear whether the snowboard carving camp can be held in a similar form as in the recent year. Before I can make a decision, I have to wait for the regulations regarding the corona measures.

Right now there are two possible options:

- Option 1: Camp will be held normal, as in the last years. That's pretty unlikely unfortunately.

- Option 2: There is no common hotel, that means everybody has his own accommodation and we meet each other directly on the snow in small groups and snowboard together. Coaching and maybe also testboards from Oxess will still be provided. I have to work out further details for this option.
It is my intention to make at least Option 2 work. The final decision will probably be made at the end of February or beginning of March, depending on the availability of information from the Swiss government.

The date for the potential Snowboard Carving Camp 2021 is: April 8 - 11, 2021

Far away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, around my home is the kind of first-class trails that give me the opportunity to reorder my emotions. On the day trip around Scuol, I sort out thoughts, negative memories and associated fears. Alone in nature I process mental ballast before I face new challenges. Mountain biking gives me the flow and the maximum awareness of life to be only in the here and now - it cleans my soul.
