See Ya ✌️
Looking Back
31 years of Playground in Paradise—what can I say? From the idea of opening a snowboardshop with Gian Paul on the T-bar ride (there was one) at Diavolezza to opening the first shop in Silvaplana, and then moving to St. Moritz… there are enough stories to fill a book. I’ve met thousands of people from all over the world, celebrated countless parties, and carved millions of miles through the snow on my board.
I’m proud. I’m grateful. And I feel deeply fulfilled by this incredible chapter.
Look Around
We built a true snowboarding hub in the middle of a high-society mountain town, surrounded by the magic of the Engadin Valley. I’ve had the honor of hosting multiple generations of riders, all sharing the same passion. Smiles everywhere, and friendly waves from familiar faces wherever I go.
My son, a talented shredder in his own right, now follows in my footsteps and is a member of the shopcrew. And I’m blessed to have amazing people and loved ones around me, always.
Looking Ahead
Change is good. New perspectives and a fresh mental canvas are exactly what I need. I’m ready to paint something new—with curiosity, motivation, and a love for the journey ahead.
From Playground to Campground
My next chapter begins at the cozy little campground Mulina in Vicosoprano. If you’ve got a tent or a van, come see me. Join me on a splitboard tour in the winter—or just stop by for a chat when we cross paths again.
That’s it for me and Playground in Paradise.
From the bottom of my heart—thank you all. You’ve been part of a wonderful story in my life.
Yours forever shredding,
Benny
