🌐 Dear federations, athletes, and coaches,

As part of the advanced technical training program for judges, athletes, and coaches, this International Federation has created (following numerous requests) a basic course for coaches.

The first and only course for competitive coaches, for those who want to increase their technical knowledge, for those who want to understand how to organize the technical program of their athletes.

This course offers coaches the opportunity to point out the work they’ll doing with their athletes in preparation for the competitive year.
The course is open to all athletes, judges, coaches, instructors or aspiring such, of Aerial & Pole Sport with at least the basic knowledge of Pole and/or Aerial, then all those who have judged, who have participated in national and international competitions or who have already trained athletes who have taken part in national and international competitions, can attend the course.
The course is entirely theoretical, online, in english language.

This course qualifies aspiring coaches to accompany athletes in national and international competitions under the auspices of POSA (Pole Sport, Pole Art, Aerial Sport, Aerial Art).

Those who pass the final exam (an online multiple-choice test) will receive a Level 1 Basic Coach Certificate.

Each year, to maintain their certification and enhance their technical knowledge, coaches must participate in at least one single-topic module, which may be organized by their national federation or directly by POSA.

If a second single-topic module is completed within the maintenance year (provided the tests are passed), the qualification will automatically advance to Level 2, and this will give the coach the opportunity to begin conducting coaching courses directly for the International Federation.

A Coach's Manual will be provided to all course participants.
