Give yourself a winter glow up! ✨

We all need it on these dark, cold, wet days.

A massage (hint hint!), a sauna, a facial, a hot bath, early nights….

This week I’m doing it all, as I could feel my energy and mood drop, and a little winter blues knocking on the door.

We are all affected by the weather but we don’t need to turn cold toward ourselves.

Instead it’s a time to increase our kindness toward ourselves and our bodies. To create loads of warmth and softness.

At the weekend I exchanged massage with my colleague. Yesterday I headed to the gym mainly so I could have a sauna!

Today, I got the chance to try a Japanese facial massage called ‘Kobido’ with my talented, kind and passionate beautician - Celine

It’s a real massage that works the muscles and lifts the face - and gives you a true winter glow! So enjoyable to receive and I walked out of there genuinely uplifted (by my cheeks!)

I’m so delighted to see how much the Wisdom Way, and the current seasonal programme in the art of wintering wisely, is landing well - nourishing, uplifting and supporting participants.

This warms my heart. 🔥

It can be a tough time winter, that beats heavy on our hearts and bodies. It doesn’t need to be.

This can be transformed when we find sanctuary and understanding and bring deeper meaning, gentleness and creativity to these days.

It was at Spring Equinox we began. This evening will be the 9th gathering at the 'Well of Wisdom'.

One participant has started a 'Wisdom board' to remember all the droplets of wisdom she has been gathering each week.

It is a soft and comforting start to the week.

A reminder to listen to your inner wisdom, to be gentle and kind with yourself, and to follow your own truth.

Sitting together like this is nourishing and uplifting, especially on these long dark evenings.

You are welcome to join - today and each Monday.

Bring a journal and pen, a cup of herbal tea perhaps. Light a candle and get cosy.
