A chapter is coming to an end for me in Switzerland 🇨🇭

After more than 8 wonderful years of coaching and building a running community, it is time for me to hand over the reins.

What started from a simple passion for running, and a desire to help others discover what they are capable of, grew into something I could never have imagined. I launched just before COVID, a very demotivated challenge, but I battled through the setbacks, kept going, and it grew. Looking back, I honestly can’t quite believe what I have created. The runners, the friendships, the races, the achievements, the laughter, the sweat and all the incredible journeys.

This comes with mixed emotions. I am incredibly proud of what I have built and so grateful to everyone who has been part of the journey. But as I have settled into my new life in Denmark, I have realised that running the business from a distance is challenging, and that I need to properly commit to this new chapter 🇩🇰

Over the past year, I have been incredibly lucky to have Kerrie Kerrie Baker by my side, helping me run the business in Switzerland, coaching sessions and keeping our community going while I have been in Denmark. I honestly couldn’t have done it without her. So, from 1 August 2026, Kerrie will officially be taking over as coach, continuing to build on the community we have created together. I know this community is in the very best hands with Kerrie, and I am so excited to see where she takes it next.

As for me… I’m not quite sure what my next chapter will look like yet, but I’m excited to find out. Thank you for believing in me, running with me and making this journey so incredibly special. ❤️

✨ 𝐑𝐔𝐍 𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 ✨⁣

Never in my wildest dreams did I think it would be such a spectacular experience.⁣
⁣
Last year I missed the sign-up. This year I was fast - two teams registered, and not long after, 18 runners were all in 👏🏼⁣
⁣
🏔️ 215km, 2500m elevation. Start and finish in Montreux. Estimated 21 hours on the move.⁣
⁣
I paired up runners by level - running buddies. Best decision ever:⁣
✅ Never alone.⁣
✅ Accountable.⁣
✅ Safe. ⁣
✅ Fun.⁣
With two teams, we became one big crew. More laughter, more support, more party vibes.⁣
⁣
And the message was clear: 𝐰𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐧.⁣
⁣
What a weekend with the most amazing women - supportive, inspiring, hilarious, strong. Nothing but smiles, giggles, and endless encouragement.⁣
⁣
And then… flying over the finish line in 20h52 and onto the podium. 🥇 A tie! 𝐁𝐨𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥. Unreal.⁣

𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬? 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐟? 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭? 𝐒𝐚𝐝 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫?
Yes. All of it.

𝐋’É𝐭𝐚𝐩𝐞 𝐝𝐮 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 has been a journey - not just physically, but mentally. It’s been tough behind the scenes, and we questioned many times whether we should even do it. But we did. And I’m proud of that.

There’s relief - maybe even before the performance itself. Relief in deciding yes, we’ll show up. Relief in putting an end to all the questions: Have I trained enough? The right way? Can I handle it?

I don’t want pain to be an excuse, but my leg hasn’t been cooperating for a while 😤 I managed the training the best I could, but I feel I have more in me - just not with this leg in its current state. It’s time to deal with it!

Despite that, I’m thrilled with my result: 9th in my category and 102nd woman overall — as the oldest in my age group🫣 Cycling is growing fast among women, and the level is incredible 💕

Of course, I did it with my partner in crime - my husband . In awe of his performance! Now living in a flat country 🇩🇰 and facing new challenges, he absolutely nailed it 👊🏼 - and as always with a smile 💙

The route was stunning 😍 The organisation impressive and the atmosphere unique as always 🥳 I felt strong and in control on the first four climbs, stuck to my plan, and even made time to take in the beauty around me. The final 20km climb? Brutal - it just never ended 🥵

Now there’s that familiar post-race emptiness. All the hours, all the focus… and just like that, it’s done. But another unforgettable experience. And luckily we have another challenge just around the corner 🤗

𝐎𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞… 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐎𝐊⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Blocked back and some personal things that needed more of me. It’s easy to think we need to keep pushing, posting, doing. But sometimes what we need most is a pause - even if it’s uncomfortable.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
It’s been a couple of quiet weeks here and I’ve been mostly offline - stepping back, listening to what I needed, and trying not to feel guilty about it.⁣
⁣
The classes have still been running and I’m so grateful for those who’ve kept showing up, even when I couldn’t be there in full.⁣
⁣
Stepping back isn’t giving up. Sometimes a step back is just part of the process. It’s making space. For healing, clarity, and the energy to come back when it’s time.⁣⁣
⁣
And I’m starting to feel that again — ready to lace up, reconnect, and return. Slowly and only when my body is ready. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣

𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝟏 𝐨𝐟 𝟏𝟎𝐊𝐌 𝐅𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 – 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐞! 🔥⁣⁣

The 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 started the 10 week program yesterday with a tough session! 💪 The runners were all focus and determined and we tackled 3 tough blocks of pace work, gradually increasing intensity while staying in control. Exactly the kind of structured effort needed to get faster over 10km! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️⁣⁣

Pushing your limits - whether it is running your first 5K or training for a marathon - is a journey of growth. Some days, you will feel unstoppable, light on your feet, full of joy. Other days, it is tough, and doubt creeps in. But every step teaches you something.⁣

I learned this firsthand with my first marathon in 2015. It was brutal. I was flying the first half, then struggled the last half, got my nutrition all wrong (a few sips of water and some Dexoryl - not ideal!), and at the finish line, I told my husband to never let me do it again. But two years later, I came back stronger. Since then, every marathon has been a lesson, a step forward - sometimes also backward before going forward again - all a part of my evolution as a runner.⁣
⁣
Running is not always easy, and that is exactly why it is powerful. It is why having the right support - your family, a coach, a group, a plan - it all makes the difference. You do not have to do it alone.⁣
