A visibility system emerging from a terrain feature just off a marked hiking path — right where traditional orientation ends and complexity begins.

This is where active visibility systems become relevant.

Some expeditions are about distance.
Nordic Endeavour 2026 is about purpose.
Approx. mid July, the team will start rowing nearly 3,000 km along Norway’s coastline — from the far north to Oslo.
But this is not a race.
It is an expedition designed to combine exploration with responsibility:

🐟 marine clean-up operations
📡 environmental data collection
🤝 engagement with coastal communities
🛟 and maritime safety awareness
Along the way, the team will operate in some of Europe’s most dynamic and challenging maritime environments.

🚨 AirMarker launches in Ireland 🇮🇪
Proud moment for AirMarker – our Swiss-designed marine safety system has officially launched in Ireland at Dún Laoghaire Harbour.
The debut took place during the inauguration of the expedition yacht Spirit of Shackleton – a floating classroom dedicated to ocean science, exploration and youth leadership.

AirMarker is now integrated as part of the yacht’s safety equipment for offshore operations and the upcoming Round Ireland Race.

In an emergency, AirMarker deploys a bright orange helium balloon above the sea surface – creating an immediate, highly visible distress signal.

An integrated LED beacon can remain visible for up to 72 hours.

🌙 Night field test in real SAR conditions
Systems from AirMarker were tested in cooperation with an operational national partner during a demanding night exercise in alpine terrain.
Marking systems including possible new products and R.ONE demonstrated strong visibility and reliable target identification under real-world conditions.

Hiking season is starting. 🏔️
But being prepared means more than planning the route and checking the weather.
