🇩🇪 **Wichtige Information zur Swisscombi 2026** 🐾 (english and french below)
Diese Nachricht fällt uns wirklich nicht leicht. Nach einer erneuten und sehr sorgfältigen Beurteilung der Bodenverhältnisse müssen wir leider eine schwere Entscheidung treffen:
**Das Swisscombi Coursing sowie das Coursing-Training müssen abgesagt werden.**
Wir wissen, dass wir euch erst am Samstag mitgeteilt haben, dass wir ein geeignetes Feld gefunden haben. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt waren wir überzeugt, dass die Bedingungen passen. Leider hat sich die Situation durch die anhaltende Trockenheit, die aussergewöhnliche Hitze und den Wind nochmals deutlich verschärft.
Der Sommer 2026 gilt mittlerweile als neuer Jahrhundertsommer und stellt selbst den bisherigen Rekordsommer von 2003 vielerorts in den Schatten. Auch bei uns hinterlässt diese aussergewöhnliche Wetterlage ihre Spuren. Der Boden hat in den vergangenen Tagen nochmals deutlich an Feuchtigkeit verloren.
Der Acker wurde inzwischen vom Bauern nochmals bearbeitet, wodurch wir die Bodenverhältnisse erneut und abschliessend beurteilen konnten. Zwar ist der Acker weicher als eine Wiese, für ein sicheres Coursing reicht die Bodenbeschaffenheit unter diesen aussergewöhnlichen Bedingungen jedoch nicht aus.
Wir haben uns diese Entscheidung wirklich nicht leicht gemacht. In den vergangenen Wochen und Monaten wurde sehr viel Zeit und Arbeit in die Vorbereitung der Swisscombi gesteckt: die Suche nach geeigneten Feldern, die Organisation, Abklärungen, Helferplanung, Infrastruktur und vieles mehr. Umso enttäuschender ist es für uns, dass wir das Coursing nun trotz all dieser Vorbereitung nicht durchführen können.
**Die Sicherheit unserer Hunde steht für uns an erster Stelle.** ❤️
Aber: Die Show findet selbstverständlich wie geplant statt!!
Auch die *Combinationswertung Schönheit & Leistung* wird nicht ersatzlos gestrichen. Sie wird bei der *Fuchsjagd am 8. November* mit einem Rennen nachgeholt.

Auch wenn das Coursing nun leider nicht stattfinden kann, möchten wir die Swisscombi nicht einfach abhaken. Wir haben sehr viel Herzblut in die Vorbereitung gesteckt und würden uns deshalb wirklich unglaublich freuen, wenn ihr trotzdem nach Lotzwil kommt.
Die Show findet statt, die Paella wird gekocht, am Sonntag gibt es Brunch – und wir möchten gemeinsam mit euch das Beste aus diesem Wochenende machen. 🐾❤️

🇫🇷 **Informations importantes concernant la Swisscombi 2026** 🐾
Ce message ne nous est vraiment pas facile à écrire. Après une nouvelle évaluation très approfondie de l’état du terrain, nous devons malheureusement prendre une décision difficile :
**Le coursing Swisscombi ainsi que l’entraînement de coursing doivent être annulés.**
Nous savons que nous vous avions encore annoncé samedi avoir trouvé un terrain approprié. À ce moment-là, nous étions convaincus que les conditions étaient bonnes. Malheureusement, la situation s’est encore considérablement aggravée en raison de la sécheresse persistante, des températures exceptionnellement élevées et du vent.
**L’été 2026 est désormais considéré comme un nouvel été du siècle et dépasse à de nombreux endroits même le précédent été record de 2003.** Cette situation météorologique exceptionnelle laisse également des traces chez nous. Le sol a encore perdu beaucoup d’humidité ces derniers jours.
Entre-temps, le champ a de nouveau été travaillé par l’agriculteur, ce qui nous a permis de réévaluer les conditions du terrain de manière approfondie et définitive. Bien que le champ soit plus souple qu’une prairie, la qualité actuelle du sol ne permet malheureusement pas d’organiser un coursing en toute sécurité dans ces conditions exceptionnelles.
Nous n’avons **vraiment pas pris cette décision à la légère**. Ces dernières semaines et ces derniers mois, beaucoup de temps et de travail ont été consacrés à la préparation de la Swisscombi : recherche de terrains appropriés, organisation, démarches, planification des bénévoles, infrastructure et bien plus encore. Il est donc d’autant plus décevant pour nous de ne pas pouvoir organiser le coursing malgré toute cette préparation.
**La sécurité de nos chiens reste notre priorité absolue.** ❤️
**L’exposition aura bien lieu comme prévu.**
Le **classement combiné beauté & performance** ne sera pas supprimé pour autant. Il sera organisé lors de la **chasse au renard en novembre**.

Même si le coursing ne pourra malheureusement pas avoir lieu, nous ne voulons pas simplement tirer un trait sur la Swisscombi. Nous avons investi énormément de temps, de travail et de cœur dans sa préparation et nous serions donc **vraiment très heureux que vous veniez malgré tout à Lotzwil**.
L’exposition aura lieu, la paella sera préparée, un brunch sera proposé dimanche – et nous voulons profiter de ce week-end avec vous et en faire malgré tout un beau moment. 🐾❤️

🇬🇧 **Important information regarding Swisscombi 2026** 🐾
This is a message that is really difficult for us to write. After another very careful assessment of the ground conditions, we unfortunately have to make a difficult decision:
**The Swisscombi coursing as well as the coursing training have to be cancelled.**
We know that we told you only on Saturday that we had found a suitable field. At that time, we were convinced that the conditions were good. Unfortunately, the situation has deteriorated considerably due to the continuing drought, the exceptionally high temperatures and the wind.
**The summer of 2026 is now considered a new summer of the century and is surpassing the previous record summer of 2003 in many parts of Switzerland.** This exceptional weather situation is also leaving its mark here. The ground has lost even more moisture over the past few days.
The field has since been worked again by the farmer, allowing us to reassess the ground conditions thoroughly and make a final evaluation. Although the field is softer than a grass meadow, the current ground conditions are unfortunately not sufficient to safely hold a coursing event under these exceptional circumstances.
We **really did not take this decision lightly**. Over the past weeks and months, a great deal of time and work has gone into preparing the Swisscombi: searching for suitable fields, organisation, arrangements, volunteer planning, infrastructure and much more. It is therefore all the more disappointing for us that, despite all this preparation, we are unable to hold the coursing.
**The safety of our dogs comes first.** ❤️
**The show will of course take place as planned.**
The **Beauty & Performance combination ranking** will also not be cancelled altogether. It will be held during the **fox hunt in November**.

Even though the coursing unfortunately cannot take place, we don't want to simply write off the Swisscombi weekend. We have put a huge amount of time, work and heart into preparing it, and we would therefore be **truly incredibly happy if you still came to Lotzwil**.
The show will take place, the paella will be served, there will be brunch on Sunday – and we want to make the most of the weekend together with you and still create a wonderful Swisscombi weekend. 🐾❤️
