The FAI was founded in 1905 and is a non-governmental and non-profit-making organisation recognised by the International Olympic Committee.

Get ready for fast-paced, futuristic action as 18 nations compete in the inaugural FAI World Drone Soccer Championships, running 15–18 November.

This groundbreaking event brings a team sport to the world of air sports — with players flying drones to score goals while defending their own! 🥅🤖

💬 “All the players are thrilled to have their sport recognised at World Championship level,” said Antonis Papadopoulos, President of the FAI Aeromodelling Commission.

After breathtakingly fast performances across the five challenging events of the 2024 season, 18-year-old Swan Versmissen of France has been proclaimed the champion of the inaugural FAI e-Drone Racing World Cup. 🏆

🥈Kirill Loban, Serbia
🥉Krutharth Mohan Chickmagalur, India

140 pilots represented 40 countries in the five world cup events, with a variety of tracks including Saudi Arabia and alpine mountains.
