During a training camp, recovery nutrition must be precise and consistent.

After each session, consume 1.0–1.2 g carbohydrates per kg body weight plus 0.3 g protein per kg (≈20–40 g) within the first hour to restore glycogen and stimulate muscle repair.

Across the day, aim for 1.6–2.2 g protein per kg body weight, split into 3–5 meals (0.3–0.4 g/kg per meal). Before bed, 30–40 g slow-digesting protein can support overnight recovery.

Additionally, include Omega-3s, magnesium, and ensure adequate vitamin D to support regeneration and immune function.
