Have you ever flown down a mountain? 🪂

That's the First Flyer — the fastest way from First to Schreckfeld, hanging from a steel cable with your feet dangling above the meadows and the valley rushing past below.

It's one of three ways to swap the gondola for an adventure on the way down: the Flyer to Schreckfeld, mountain carts from Schreckfeld to Bort, then trotti bikes back to Grindelwald.

A wildflower meadow high above Grindelwald, snow-capped peaks in front of you, and nothing on the agenda but the view. First is known for its thrills — the Cliff Walk, the First Flyer, the ride down by trotti bike — but it's just as good to totally relax.

There's a reason Grindelwald-First is at the top of so many Grindelwald bucket lists. 🏔️

Few places pack this much into one ticket: the thrill of the Cliff Walk reaching out over the cliff face, an easy hike to one of Switzerland's most photographed mountain lakes, and three different ways to race back down to the valley.
