When it comes to working out before summer time, some people are largely motivated by the idea of putting on a bathing suit. However, there are countless other sources of motivation to start or maintain a fitness routine. 🏋️‍♀️

Here are some tips that may help you:

1.) Find a workout partner 🤼‍♀️

2.) Get off to a slow start & be kind to yourself. 🥰

The bikini season is getting close! ☀️
The closer to summer we get, the more hours of daylight we get, and that means it is easier to find time for exercise! Head out in the morning before work for a power walk or a run. You can also do a workout in the park close to home. If you are not a morning person, there is now also daylight when you finish work so get out there and don’t miss out!

This pose is a backbend that opens the chest and strengthens the arms and legs. It’s beneficial to Sun Salutations and practiced a lot in flow classes. Linking breath to movement is important when you’re practicing Up Dog, because the breath opens the heart so use your breath to open your chest and backbend mindfully into Upward-Facing Dog Pose.
