Day 5 of pre season ski training today. today.
Normally I would be in the gym again, but after yesterdays 11 hour drive back to the U.K. from Switzerland I’m feeling a bit stiff so it’s time for a recovery day.
Today I’m going for a long walk followed by a 1 hour yoga session.
The walk is going to be about 4 miles/6km or one hour at a brisk pace.
Yoga is the same session we did on Sunday. Plus another one for neck and shoulders.
I’m doing this one because I’m still getting pain in my shoulders after breaking my elbow and not using my arm properly for two months.
If you have any little niggles anywhere in your body. Attend to them first before you go too hard on other forms of training. Not doing so is just an injury waiting to happen. Yoga or Pilates are both excellent ways to injury prod your body.
