I buy some guides, I get information on the Web, I plan the routes on Strava.com, I buy new 25mm Maraton Plus tires, I modify my bike to mount the two back bags as low as possible, I check what I have to wear, towels, tools, spare parts, cell phone, batteries, rain protection ..
Lilia had planned a week's holiday in Biscarosse FR decided to anticipate the departure and to drive a part of the route, then, at the beginning of September we go to Geneva to collect the pilgrim's card, then the Rhone valley, Sete, Carcassone, Toulose , Pau, Pamplona up to Burgos, highway and beautiful views, Lilia relaxes and supports me because in the car the route seems quite easy and with little traffic on the roads.
