⚽️ SAFP will be at WFS Madrid 2026

On 15–16 September, we will be in Madrid for the World Football Summit, bringing together leading professionals and decision-makers from across the football industry.

The SAFP – Swiss Association of Football Players will be represented by our Player Relation Manager, Joao Paiva, who will take part as a speaker during the event.

🎥 SRF visits SAFP

SRF journalist Serena Degen joined us today in Glattbrugg to speak with .gasser, a participant in this year’s SAFP Training Camp, and our Player Relationship Manager João Paiva.

The focus: the reality faced by professional footballers without a contract, the challenges they encounter, and how SAFP supports players on their journey back into professional football.

🧠⚽ Brain health must become a priority in Swiss football.

SAFP President Lucien W. Valloni and Medical Director Florent Aziri speak to Le Matin Dimanche, 24heures.ch and Tribune de Genève about concussions and repeated head impacts in football.

We welcome the constructive dialogue with Swiss Football League and hope that these discussions will now translate into concrete measures.

Protecting players requires coordinated action across Swiss football. We invite Swiss Football Association to join us: Together with Swiss Football League, clubs, players, the University of Zürich and Sports Doctors Network we are working on advancing player brain health through medical expertise, research and practical solutions.

Awareness is not enough. It’s time to turn dialogue into action. 🧠
