Its glorious days took place when the Automobile Club of Marseilles decided to organize the event between 1932 and 1972. Highlights with 4 glorious JAGUAR years in 1948, 1950, '51 and '52. Organizing this historic event was for me an honor. with 6 dramatic days on gruelling roads thru the Alps, 1'600 miles and 5 countries visited, the rallye des Alpes is unique. Prestigious places like Geneva, Zermatt, St.-Moritz, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Innsbruck, Cortina d'Ampezzo or Marseilles. Lots of documents to produce in 4 languages and in the end, lots of intense moments of camaraderie shared.
