The end of this 3-year journey with Towards an Inclusive Peace is just the beginning for our family of peacebuilders around the world to strengthen their commitment to building just and peaceful societies;
to create a culture of trust within and among our communities, where everyone is free to live without experiencing violence.

We are deeply grateful for every peacebuilder, community leader, activist, educator and every person who has been part of this wonderful journey Towards an Inclusive Peace around the world!

From our Intercultural Evening, Towards an Inclusive Peace Participants and the Caux Scholars Program came together to enjoy and share food, art, culture, music, and the spirit of our respective communities from around the world. They also experienced the Junkyard Jam sessions with one of our speakers at the Caux Palace terrace.

Day two of Towards an Inclusive Peace highlighted the need for a 'deep prevention' lens to transform violent extremism and featured Ghissou Jahangiri of Armanshahr Foundation OPEN ASIA- آرمان شهر, Melinda Holmes of International Civil Society Action Network, and Daniel Hyslop of Interpeace. Each presentation introduced insights for sustainable transformation which begins by empowering the local community to develop their own positive peace process.

A dynamic start to Caux Forum's Towards an Inclusive Peace (TIP) 2019 where we heard from Barbara Hintermann, Secretary General of Initiatives of Change Switzerland and Dr. Khalid Koser, of Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund.

The opening session invited participants to reflect on the three pillars of TIP 2019, namely, deep prevention, community resilience and protection of peacebuilders. Looking forward to the week ahead as we identify integrated approaches to prevention of violent extremism throughout the world.
