For several years as a teenager I was a member of the Scottish National Swim Team, competing across Europe in freestyle and butterfly sprint events and relays; and at university I was president and captain of Strathclyde University Swim Team. These days I still enjoy swimming along with mountain biking, road cycling and rock climbing. Expect to experience different exercises every time you train with me, using different equipment – kettlebells, medicine balls, dumbbells and barbells – and different training methods, all with the aim of keeping you interested, motivated and on target to reach your goals! I am also a fully qualified sports massage therapist, so whether you want to treat yourself after a hard session in the gym, get help with recovering from an injury, or have a general assessment to see where massage could benefit you, don’t forget to give me a shout!
