2022 to promote sports Look no further than the A1 sports club!

Are you looking for a fun and engaging way to stay active and meet new people in and around Basel? We offer both cricket and badminton, so whether you're a seasoned player or just starting out, we have something for you. Our club is open to youths and adults (all genders) of all skill levels. We focus on creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all members. Sports are great for physical

health and building camaraderie and friendships that can last a lifetime. If you're interested in joining us for a game, please don't hesitate to reach out. We can't wait to meet you and have fun on the court or field!

A competitive double-header between A1SC-W and CCC-W saw both teams secure a win each.

T20 Match�🏏 A1SC: 83/7 (16.2 overs) | CCC-W: 84/1 (10.5 overs)�A determined effort from A1SC-W against a strong CCC-W side.

T10 Match�🏏 A1SC: 76/3 (10 overs) | CCC-W: 48/3 (10 overs)�A strong all-round performance from A1SC-W, with disciplined bowling and fielding backing up a competitive total.

A fantastic performance from A1SC-W as our girls delivered strong results in both the T10 and T20 formats against Embrach Thunder.

T10 Match
🏏 A1SC: 67/2 (10 overs) | CVZ: 68/0 (9.2 overs)
A strong start in the T10 with good intent and a disciplined batting performance.

T20 Match
🏏 A1SC: 103/8 (16.5 overs) | CVZ: 104/2 (11.3 overs)
A determined effort in the T20, with the team showing resilience and fighting spirit throughout.

Both matches went to CVZ on the day, but A1SC-W continues to show steady progress and strong team development with every game.

Match 2 Update – A1SC-W vs Basel Super Novas
📍 Bachgraben, Allschwil, Basel | 📅 09 May
A1SC-W took on the Basel Super Novas in a thrilling double-header, and our girls gave it everything they had across both formats!
T20 Match
🏏 A1SC: 138/6 (20 overs) | BSN: 139/3 (19 overs)
A1SC-W posted a competitive 138 on the board and fought hard to defend it right to the final over. A special mention to Divyasree, who anchored the innings beautifully with a composed 34 runs off 48 balls.

T10 Match
🏏 A1SC: 85/3 (10 overs) | BSN: 87/0 (7.1 overs)
In the T10, the team came out firing and put up a strong 85/3 — a total that showed real intent and batting depth.

Both matches went to BSN on the day, but the A1SC-W squad showed tremendous heart, resilience, and skill from the first ball to the last. Every delivery was contested, every run was earned, and the fighting spirit on display is exactly what this team is built on.

Our A1 Women's team clinched their very first T20 AND T10 victories against Swiss Girls+ A1 Stars, in the CS Women's League!

Massive congratulations to the whole team for this incredible milestone. Special shoutout to our star performers:

🏏✨ Congratulations, A1Women!

Our ladies smashed it at the 3rd edition of Cricket Switzerland Women Indoor League, finishing 3rd overall!

A big shoutout to our A1 Stars, our second team, who finished 5th out of 8 teams. For a group of beginners stepping into competitive cricket, that is something to be proud of.

Both squads showed what A1 is all about - passion, teamwork, and heart! ❤️

Big cheers to for taking home the Best Fielder award – what a champ! 🔥🙌

Congratulations also to Basel Supernovas 🏆 on winning the tournament and CVZ-Women 🥈 on finishing as runners-up!

Now we’re ready to roll into the outdoor season starting in April. Bring it on! 🌿🏏
