Interesting shift happening in hotel wellness right now.

For years the focus was:
“Does the hotel have a gym?”

Now it’s becoming:
“Does the hotel remove the friction from working out while traveling?”

Forgot gym clothes.
Carry-on only.
No indoor shoes.
Wet swimwear.
Laundry issues.

That’s why solutions like are interesting to watch.

The future of hotel fitness may be less about adding more equipment and more about making wellness easier, lighter, and frictionless for travelers. 💪

Interesting conversation from T. Stevens and Platon Trifan around where hotel wellness could be heading.

At HotelGyms.com, we think this shift is only getting started.

You book the hotel with a gym. You get there, look at the gym, and go back to your room. Every frequent traveller knows this feeling.

The interesting thing is nobody ever questioned the model. A gym requires a room, machines, maintenance, and a liability waiver. So hotels built the minimum version, stuck it in the basement, and ticked the box. The problem was never that people don't want to exercise while travelling. It's that the solution was designed for the hotel's convenience, not the guest's.

Gympak flipped the logic. The kit comes to the room. Clothes, equipment, 200+ coached workouts, waiting when you check in. For hotels without a gym it's an instant upgrade. For guests who travel light it removes the last excuse.

We've been looking for better answers to this problem at HotelGyms.com for a while. This one is genuinely worth paying attention to.
