Olympic history meets coach education.✨🚴🏼

Today, our UCI Level 3 Coaching Course participants visited the IOC headquarters in Lausanne. One of the highlights was seeing Azzedine Lagan🇩🇿 sign the Olympians Wall. A two-time Olympian and multiple Algerian National Champion, Azzedine has represented his country at the highest level and continues to inspire the next generation of coaches and cyclists.

A meaningful moment that perfectly reflects the spirit of Olympic Solidarity: empowering athletes and coaches through education, development, and the sharing of experience across the global sporting community 🌍

Nicholas Paul is on another level 💪🇹🇹

On Saturday in Nilai, UCI World Cycling Centre athlete Nicholas Paul stepped into the Keirin final against some of the fiercest competitors in the world, including world champion Harrie Lavreysen and Asian Games champion Azizulhasni Awang. He fought for every inch of that track and came away with a well-deserved bronze medal 🥉

On Sunday he was back on the track, posting the second fastest time in the qualifiers before lining up in the Sprint final against five-time Olympic gold medallist Harrie Lavreysen. He pushed him all the way to the line in one of the most competitive sprint finals of the season, and walked away with a stunning silver medal 🥈

Two days, two finals, two medals!

The UCI Track World Championships in Shanghai 🇨🇳 are next, and we cannot wait.
