What did we see today on Day 6 of the World Cup in Lier?
Did we see the high-run record broken?
No.
Did we see another eye-watering high average game?
No.
Soโฆ what ๐๐๐ we see?
Well, we saw some beautifully crafted high runs, some rock-solid defensive play and, perhaps most importantly, we were reminded that even world-class billiard players are not immune to tension in their arms when matches get tight and go right down to the wire.
And guess what? Thatโs part of our beautiful sport.
In fact, itโs one of the things that makes our game even more exciting, and perhaps even more beautiful.
And despite all the tension, the quarter-finals still produced an impressive overall average of ๐ญ.๐ต๐ญ๐ฌ. Not too shabby!
This is the programme for tomorrow:
- 12am: ๐ป๐ณ ๐๐๐ข ๐ฃ๐ต๐๐ผ๐ป๐ด ๐ฉ๐ถ๐ป๐ต vs ๐ฐ๐ท ๐๐๐ข ๐ ๐๐๐ป๐ด ๐ช๐ผ๐ผ.

So, fasten your seatbelts and get ready for the grand finale!
Will we see a new high-run record?
Will we see another monster average?

Thereโs only one way to find outโฆ
