MAWTEN VI INVITATION T20 CRICKET TOURNAMENT 2026 FINAL 🏆.

Congratulations to Lawblei SC for lifting the Mawten VI invitationT20 cricket Tournament 2026 winning the final match by 7 wickets against Mawten SC .

Mawten SC posted a competitive 171/8 in 20 overs after Lawblei SC won the toss and chose to field. Swarajeet Das played a brilliant knock of 42 off 27 balls, while Shavian P Blah added 33 runs. Wicketkeeper Dipankar Baruah remained unbeaten on a powerful 42 off 25 deliveries, ensuring a strong total for Mawten SC .
In reply, Lawblei SC chased the target in dominant fashion, scoring 172/3 in just 17.4 overs to win the final by 7 wickets .Samir Shah led the charge with a match-winning 50 off 29 balls, supported by valuable contributions from Captain Hameki Susngi (34) and Rajib Ray’s explosive unbeaten 24 off 9 balls.

MAWTEN VI T20 CRICKET TOURNAMENT 2026

The Mawten VI T20 Cricket Tournament 2026 begins :The opening match witnessed an exciting contest between Dream XI and Jong Ngi XI
After winning the toss, Dream XI chosed to bat first and got off to a steady start. Despite losing early wickets, the innings was well stabilized by Riboklang Hynniewta, who played a confident knock of 39 runs and Sarbok Jana, who anchored the innings with a solid 41 runs. Valuable support from Bestarland Kharaswai (23 runs)* helped Dream X1 post a competitive total of 160/5 in 20 overs.
In reply, Jong Ngi XI struggled to build long partnerships against disciplined bowling. Settle Diengdoh top-scored for Jong Ngi XI with a fighting 32 runs, while Malcolm Syiemlieh added 21 runs at the top. However, regular wickets kept them under pressure throughout the chase.
The bowling attack of Dream X1 proved too strong with Rudolf delivering an outstanding spell, picking up 3 crucial wickets for just 17 runs. He was well supported by Sunny and Bestarland Kharraswai, who claimed 2 wickets each, ensuring Jong Ngi XI were restricted to 113/8 in 20 overs.With this 47-run victory, Dream XI made a strong statement of the opening match.
The tournament was inaugurated Shri B. Jyrwa, SP Mawkyrwat, South West Khasi Hills District, as the Chief Guest and also graced by the members of SWKHDCA and members of Mawten SC.
