Today, we recognize Canada Day and the many people, cultures, and communities that make this country home.
At Yukon First Nations Wildfire, we know that Canada’s story is built upon the histories, cultures, and enduring presence of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples. As we celebrate today, we also reflect on the importance of reconciliation, respect, and working together toward a stronger future.
We are grateful for the opportunity to serve Yukon communities through wildfire response, training, emergency preparedness, and land stewardship. Every day, we are inspired by the strength, resilience, and partnership of the people we work alongside across the North.
