Here is our current ice schedule for the 2026–2027 season! Our first practice is scheduled for Monday, November 2nd.

There may still be some changes before the season begins, but this is what we are currently planning for.

🚨Calling All Refs!

Hockey Sask has opened up their ref clinics for the upcoming season.

If your child is 10 years old or older and would be interested in learning to referee while making a little extra cash this winter, we'd love to hear from you!

Here's what we are offering
🏒 No Experience Needed!
🏒 Games: U7, U9 & U11, with placements based on experience & Childs comfort level
🏒 Mentorship: Ref with an experienced ref or a buddy! One of our board members are also always around for support
🏒 Full course reimbursement after you've refereed 3 games

Yellow Grass Skating Club has opened up their registration for this winters sessions!

Did you know, as a first year hockey player, YGMH will cover the cost of Skating Club! You can be in any age division, as long as this is your first year in hockey. Questions? Send us a message and we can help you out!

2026-2027 Season Yellow Grass Skating Club ice times for the season will be Mondays from 4pm-6pm and Wednesdays from 4:30pm-6:30pm. Children will be grouped based off of interest/abilities and lesson times for each group will be announced prior to start date.

❓Did ya know?

🏒U7-U11 Players must first register with their home association before registering elsewhere. For U11 and below age divisions, players must play with the closest center that has a team for them to register with. YGMH is accepting U7, U9, U11 & U13 registrations.

🏒U13AA Players do not need a release until they are placed on a team.

🏒U11 players hoping to try out &/or play Tier 1 will need a release prior to stepping on the ice.

🏒YGMH Board of Directors will review each request for a release on an individual basis. Approval is not guaranteed, and decisions are made after careful consideration of the circumstances, Hockey Sask regulations, and the interests of both the player & the association.
